  Absolutely wonderful food with a great atmosphere and very friendly service. Generally pretty busy, so plan for a bit of a wait. Everything is delicious, so don't worry about what to get!

  Go here if you like eating seasonal vegetables and great service. Wait is sometimes long but the self-serve coffee is the perfect remedy for that. Clean, un-gendered bathrooms. Food is under-seasoned but that's better than over-seasoned; nothing a little salt didn't fix. Love the built-in tip philosophy that you can option out of or add to.

  The BEST breakfast in Oakland! Yummy, creative, hearty and fresh! If you're visiting, this is a great local hip and happenin' place - esp for brunch on th weekends.
  
  I also appreciate that they include a nominal service fee in the final bill (think it's 10%) so that they can share tips with kitchen staff - they have signs all over about it. So you don't technically need to tip unless you feel generous- and you WILL after you eat your delicious, home-cooked meal!
